Dinner at Ebby’s

“I can cook for the feast,” said Ebby. And to convince us, he threw us a dinner party. We had samosa, 18-hour-cooked beef stew, saffron rice and other dishes. It was amazing. Not one mediocre dish was served. Even the tea was great. “Can you prepare food for 20 people?” asked Prof. Lily. “Of course! I made dinner for more than that last week. Ask Jill,” replied Ebby. We all looked at Jill and she nodded. And now we have our cook.
